VEITH Needle Plate STOLK

A very useful tool to be used in the cutting room — stabilizing multiple layers of fabric during cutting or transportation. The needle plates are a clever alternative to classic clamps with some important advantages.

The Problem

Common clamp problem
  • A pile of several layers of fabric typically tend to shift
  • Traditional clamps can hold the pile just at the edge, but not inside the lay package
  • Traditional clamps press the pile with the consequence that layers shift slightly close to the clamp
  • The quality of the cut pieces is not accurate
  • Cutting itself takes more time

The Solution

VEITH Needle Plate
  • The VEITH Needle Plate is a clamping tool with pins coming from the top
  • 2 bridges (red) holding each 2 pins(*) and sliding up and down a guide
  • A clever design makes sure that presently not used Needle Plates can be stored in an easy to handle tower
